Fairfax Media, nib launch health insurance partnership Done

A new health insurance scheme has been launched, targeting people who have no health insurance.

While many people have home, car and contents insurance, about 70 per cent of New Zealanders have no health insurance.

Fairfax Media, owner of Stuff, and nib, New Zealand’s second-biggest health insurer, have joined to launch Done, an online-only product with quoting tools for customers to decide which cover they want.

”We believe there is a real opportunity for private health insurance to help reduce the ever increasing health cost burden on the Government by helping facilitate access to healthcare for Kiwis,” said nib chief executive Rob Hennin.
