Aspen’s mayor has some tips for its New Zealand sister town.
After five days in the resort, Steve Skadron realised housing, infrastructure, transport and immigration were issues the two towns shared.
They could be fixed, but it would not easily, he told a Queenstown Chamber of Commerce lunch on Friday.
When elected five years ago, Skadron rewrote land-use laws to balance community and tourism.
