Cyber bullying ‘serious and important’ to Kiwis, when prompted

Over half of New Zealanders use social media despite their concerns over cyber bullying.

About 70 per cent of 750 people over 18 years old surveyed for InternetNZ by UMR Research, said cyber bullying was their major concern about the internet when prompted.

However, before they were told of specific internet concerns by surveyors, most respondents listed security and privacy as their most pressing worries.
