OPINION: Sky Television shareholders will be in a sour mood when they meet in Auckland for its annual meeting on October 29.
Sky shares have fallen 40 per cent since the company’s last annual meeting and there seems little the company can do to get out of its current pickle.
“Greed” is not the big problem.
Sky’s 705,000 satellite subscribers spend an average of $83 a month on its service, while the company made a pre-tax profit of $167m last year.
