Meals to die for: Kiwi photographer captures last meals of executed prisoners

There’s something so poignant about looking at the last meal of a man about to be killed, especially when you know it’s the meal he requested.

Christchurch-raised photographer Henry Hargreaves has used that emotional impact in his latest photography project A Year of Killing. He features images of the last meals of the 20 people executed in the United States this year.
