After two years in the firing line, Sky TV suddenly bites the bullet

ANALYSIS After appearing to bury its head in the sand while satellite television customers deserted it for the likes of Netflix, Sky Television has finally responded by radically changing its pricing.

But the changes aren’t radical enough for some.

Customers will be able to buy a new low-frills satellite television service, called Sky Starter, for $24.91 a month that will offer 46 channels, rather than the 64 channels currently offered with the $49.91 Sky Basic service.
